ADD/ADHD Pre-Screener

The Cups And Balls (CABs)ADD/ADHD Pre-Screener provides a measure of a child’s ability to listen to, organize, and operate on a given set of auditory instructions at differing levels of complexity. The CABs screens a child’s general attention and concentration skills. This test is short, enjoyable, and is excellent as a rapport builder. It provides a comparison of a child's performance to that of a well defined ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) population. The initial information gained from the CABs can be helpful in determining the direction of subsequent testing. The psychometric properties of the CABs supports its use to identify attention or language processing difficulties. The CABs requires minimal training or system requirements and can be used by a wide range of professionals working with children.

The CABs was designed to be user friendly for both the subject and the examiner. Given the stated use for the test, and considering that the test requires minimal instruction or supervision, It is administered by the computer and is scored and interpreted internally.
